Adventure Zone-Full Summer Childcare Ages 5-12 Summer full day childcare. Designed for the working parent (s) who need affordable childcare during the summer months. Adventure zone offers a rich program experience for participants. Activities include but not limited to: arts and crafts, sports, tournaments, field trips, swimming once a week and environmental activities and visits to the Municipal spray park. Participants are divided into appropriate age groups.Some of the benefits of attending are a sense of adventure, building self esteem, socialization, interaction with peers,increasing creativity and personal growth. Participant should bring a lunch with ice pack, snacks and water bottle. (Water is available) Field trips are separate from camp fees and you will receive the newsletter on the Monday of the events planned for the week. We have one field trip once a week. Some of our destinations are Play Bousquet, movies, roller skating, ice skating, Brownstone park, Forest park, look park. A school bus is used for field trips. Field trip expenses go to the two Day camp Directors on site with a permission slip cash only to the directors. (No checks) to pay the vendor.
You will sign in and sign out your child each day.

All our day care staff are CPR and First Aid Certified and have experience working with children in a childcare setting. Some have been with us for many years. Sign up and meet new friends!

  • Fee: $96.00 per week (No field trips) (No program July 3-Pro-rated)


  • Ages: 5-12   


  • Times: 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.


  • Location: Westfield Technical Academy School- 33 Smith Ave.  (meet in Gym) 


  • Payments for the program are due the Friday before each Monday at the Parks and Recreation office 4 Holcomb St. (Or pay online) Please do not give camp fees to day camp directors on site- $ 120 a week. ) 


  • Field trips expenses separate.


  • A parent handbook will be mailed after you register.
