Adventure Zone -Summer Childcare-2025 - A -Adventure Zone -June 23-June 27 "Adventure Zone" is a Parks and Recreation Department program since 2003! The one and only AZ camp! A full-day camp during the summer for children ages 5-12. Designed for the working Parents/guardians (s) who need affordable childcare during the summer months when school gets out. Adventure Zone will offer a rich program experience for all participants. Activities include, but are not limited to arts and crafts, sports, tournaments, field trips riding a school bus (Lecrenski Brothers Transportation staff) swimming once a week (Agawam State pool) environmental activities, guest speakers, and much more. Participants are divided into age-appropriate groups, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12. Some of the benefits of attending this program are a sense of adventure, building self-esteem, socialization, interaction with peers, and increasing creativity and personal growth. Participants should bring their own lunch, snacks drink. Lunches should be brought in a small cooler or backpack. Water is available for drinks. Bring a bathing suit and towel every day as we will visit the spray park that is just right behind the School. All of our Summer Camp Councilors are CPR and First Aid certified. All children need to be toilet trained and age at the start of program. We just need your AZ forms completed (hard copy) call office for form at 572-6263 and returned to us now and payments are due the Friday before each Monday each week. Then you can register online each week and pay each week after you drop off form. (You only need One AZ form per child the whole summer) Thank you! (Don't add all sessions online unless you are paying in full for all of them!) All payments are due the Friday before each Monday online or at the office or use the drop-off box. The instructor provides balance, instruction, and practice. Emphasis will be on grip, stance, swing, serve, and ball placement as well as hitting with control for depth and power. Please bring your own tennis racket, a water bottle, and a snack. Bring your bathing suit and towel we will visit the spray park to cool off. Learn stage movement, voice projection, and characterization. Enjoy your own moment in the spotlight as you become part of a one-act production! The children will hold a performance for family and friends on the last day of the session. The instructor is Kathy Palmer with many years of theater, experience writing plays, and Westfield's finest drama instructors!

Adult Softball Leagues Co-Ed - Wednesday April - Adult Softball Leagues-Wednesday-Co-Ed The team captain registers and pays for the team. Team Captain is responsible for providing their own team t-shirts and sponsors. The Team Captain will also be responsible for paying the umpire and scorekeeper at the beginning of each game.

Location: Whitney Playground- Enter on Shepard Street over the hill and exit through Sackett St. All players or teams that don't follow the conduct guidelines will be dismissed from the league with no refund. Practice good sportsmanship. *Per city ordinance no alcoholic beverages and smoking is allowed. (Police take notice) Once you are registered you will receive the times of practice/schedule information. Conduct Policy This league is of "friendly" competition and is set up to promote recreational sports in the City of Westfield adult softball leagues. We ask all participants to work together to continue the philosophy of this program. The use of profanity and unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and officials will be instructed to eject from a game any player, manager, or spectator guilty of these offenses. No drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking before, during, or after a league game on city property, per city ordinance give the police to arrest the individual (s) will result in permanent suspension of the player(s) involved. The Team Captain is the responsible manager who is responsible for the conduct of his or her team (as well as any spectators) both on and off the playing field. The team captain manager is responsible for the policing of the benches and dugout for any trash left behind. Any ejection from a game will lead to the players causing the disrespectful conduct to be removed from the team and we can dismiss the whole team from the league due to bad conduct with no refunds. ALL PLAYERS COMPETE AT THEIR OWN RISK. All players are required to sign a Liability waiver prior to the start of the season. Team captain managers are responsible for providing signed waivers for your team. The City of Westfield is not responsible for any injuries received.

Adventure Zone -Summer Childcare-2025 - C-Adventure Zone - July 7 - July 11 "Adventure Zone" is a Parks and Recreation Department program since 2003! The one and only AZ camp! A full-day camp during the summer for children ages 5-12. Designed for the working Parents/guardians (s) who need affordable childcare during the summer months when school gets out. Adventure Zone will offer a rich program experience for all participants. Activities include, but are not limited to arts and crafts, sports, tournaments, field trips riding a school bus (Lecrenski Brothers Transportation staff) swimming once a week (Agawam State pool) environmental activities, guest speakers, and much more. Participants are divided into age-appropriate groups, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12. Some of the benefits of attending this program are a sense of adventure, building self-esteem, socialization, interaction with peers, and increasing creativity and personal growth. Participants should bring their own lunch, snacks drink. Lunches should be brought in a small cooler or backpack. Water is available for drinks. Bring a bathing suit and towel every day as we will visit the spray park that is just right behind the School. All of our Summer Camp Councilors are CPR and First Aid certified. All children need to be toilet trained and age at the start of program. It will be a fantastic week of dance, friends, fun, and a few surprises. We will end the week with a special talent showcase for our family and friends, along with trophy for all dancers. Each week will include manicures, pedicures, glitter tattoos, yoga, and musical theater & themed party days. There will be a make your own sundae day as well. Everyone will enjoy a pool party at Roots Aquatic & Fitness Center and of course, a few special appearances by a princess or two. Remember to wear comfortable clothes or dance clothes. Child and Babysitting Safety Program -July 8 - Child and Babysitting Safety Program- July 8 The child and babysitting safety (CABS) program are a community education program that covers child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. The course is designed for pre-teens and teenagers who may be responsible for watching younger siblings, neighbors, and relatives children. The program will teach the importance of responsibility, reliability, proper discipline, age-appropriate activities, recognizing an emergency, emergency action steps, personal safety, fire, water and food safety, infant care and basic first aid and choking management. The course will help increase the self-esteem and self-confidence of potential babysitters. We will also review marketing and learning to be assertive. Location: Whitney Playground- Enter on Shepard Street over the hill and exit through Sackett St. All players or teams that don't follow the conduct guidelines will be dismissed from the league with no refund. Practice good sportsmanship. *Per city ordinance no alcoholic beverages and smoking is allowed. (Police take notice) Once you are registered you will receive the times of practice/schedule information. Conduct Policy This league is of "friendly" competition and is set up to promote recreational sports in the City of Westfield adult softball leagues. We ask all participants to work together to continue the philosophy of this program. The use of profanity and unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and officials will be instructed to eject from a game any player, manager, or spectator guilty of these offenses. No drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking before, during, or after a league game on city property, per city ordinance give the police to arrest the individual (s) will result in permanent suspension of the player(s) involved. The Team Captain is the responsible manager who is responsible for the conduct of his or her team (as well as any spectators) both on and off the playing field. The team captain manager is responsible for the policing of the benches and dugout for any trash left behind. Any ejection from a game will lead to the players causing the disrespectful conduct to be removed from the team and we can dismiss the whole team from the league due to bad conduct with no refunds. ALL PLAYERS COMPETE AT THEIR OWN RISK. All players are required to sign a Liability waiver prior to the start of the season. Team captain managers are responsible for providing signed waivers for your team. The City of Westfield is not responsible for any injuries received.

Adventure Zone -Summer Childcare-2025 - C-Adventure Zone - July 7 - July 11 "Adventure Zone" is a Parks and Recreation Department program since 2003! The one and only AZ camp! A full-day camp during the summer for children ages 5-12. Designed for the working Parents/guardians (s) who need affordable childcare during the summer months when school gets out. Adventure Zone will offer a rich program experience for all participants. Activities include, but are not limited to arts and crafts, sports, tournaments, field trips riding a school bus (Lecrenski Brothers Transportation staff) swimming once a week (Agawam State pool) environmental activities, guest speakers, and much more. Participants are divided into age-appropriate groups, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12. Some of the benefits of attending this program are a sense of adventure, building self-esteem, socialization, interaction with peers, and increasing creativity and personal growth. Participants should bring their own lunch, snacks drink. Lunches should be brought in a small cooler or backpack. Water is available for drinks. Bring a bathing suit and towel every day as we will visit the spray park that is just right behind the School. All of our Summer Camp Councilors are CPR and First Aid certified. All children need to be toilet trained and age at the start of program. Participants will be taught the basics of the game: Serving, return, grip, swing, footwork, ball placement (dinking) keeping score, and the general rules of the game. Participants will also learn drills they can practice at home. Participants should bring a water bottle, and a small hand towel and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Adventure Zone -Summer Childcare-2025 - C-Adventure Zone - July 7 - July 11 "Adventure Zone" is a Parks and Recreation Department program since 2003! The one and only AZ camp! A full-day camp during the summer for children ages 5-12. Designed for the working Parents/guardians (s) who need affordable childcare during the summer months when school gets out. Adventure Zone will offer a rich program experience for all participants. Activities include, but are not limited to arts and crafts, sports, tournaments, field trips riding a school bus (Lecrenski Brothers Transportation staff) swimming once a week (Agawam State pool) environmental activities, guest speakers, and much more. Participants are divided into age-appropriate groups, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12. Some of the benefits of attending this program are a sense of adventure, building self-esteem, socialization, interaction with peers, and increasing creativity and personal growth. Participants should bring their own lunch, snacks drink. Lunches should be brought in a small cooler or backpack. Water is available for drinks. Bring a bathing suit and towel every day as we will visit the spray park that is just right behind the School. All of our Summer Camp Councilors are CPR and First Aid certified. All children need to be toilet trained and age at the start of program. We just need your AZ forms completed (hard copy) call office for form at 572-6263 and returned to us now and payments are due the Friday before each Monday each week. Then you can register online each week and pay each week after you drop off form. (You only need One AZ form per child the whole summer) Thank you! Dance Camp -A-July 7 -July 11 Ages 4 & Up - Dance Camp A July 7-July 11 This camp will include a little of everything: jazz, acro, ballet, tap, lyrical, and hip-hop. It will be a fantastic week of dance, friends, fun, and a few surprises. We will end the week with a special talent showcase for our family and friends, along with trophy for all dancers. Each week will include manicures, pedicures, glitter tattoos, yoga, and musical theater & themed party days. There will be a make your own sundae day as well. Everyone will enjoy a pool party at Roots Aquatic & Fitness Center and of course, a few special appearances by a princess or two. Remember to wear comfortable clothes or dance clothes. If you have dance shoes please bring them, if not the dance center has extra tap shoes we would be happy to share with you. Bring a drink and a snack. The instructor is Dan Dziuban, co-owner of Theory Skate Shop who has been teaching for over 25 years. He will be on hand to teach the beginner and intermediate tricks and will bring his skateboard equipment ramps with him. Bring a water bottle, snack, and bathing suit, and apply suntan lotion before arriving as we will cool off at the spray park each day. Bring your own skateboard, helmets required elbow and knee pads.

A full-day camp during the summer for children ages 5-12. Designed for the working Parents/guardians (s) who need affordable childcare during the summer months when school gets out. Adventure Zone will offer a rich program experience for all participants. Activities include, but are not limited to arts and crafts, sports, tournaments, field trips riding a school bus (Lecrenski Brothers Transportation staff) swimming once a week (Agawam State pool) environmental activities, guest speakers, and much more. Participants are divided into age-appropriate groups, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12. Some of the benefits of attending this program are a sense of adventure, building self-esteem, socialization, interaction with peers, and increasing creativity and personal growth. Participants should bring their own lunch, snacks drink. Lunches should be brought in a small cooler or backpack. Water is available for drinks. Location: Whitney Playground- Enter on Shepard Street over the hill and exit through Sackett St. All players or teams that don't follow the conduct guidelines will be dismissed from the league with no refund. Practice good sportsmanship. *Per city ordinance no alcoholic beverages and smoking is allowed. (Police take notice) Once you are registered you will receive the times of practice/schedule information. Conduct Policy This league is of "friendly" competition and is set up to promote recreational sports in the City of Westfield adult softball leagues. We ask all participants to work together to continue the philosophy of this program. The use of profanity and unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and officials will be instructed to eject from a game any player, manager, or spectator guilty of these offenses. No drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking before, during, or after a league game on city property, per city ordinance give the police to arrest the individual (s) will result in permanent suspension of the player(s) involved. The Team Captain is the responsible manager who is responsible for the conduct of his or her team (as well as any spectators) both on and off the playing field. The team captain manager is responsible for the policing of the benches and dugout for any trash left behind. Any ejection from a game will lead to the players causing the disrespectful conduct to be removed from the team and we can dismiss the whole team from the league due to bad conduct with no refunds. ALL PLAYERS COMPETE AT THEIR OWN RISK. All players are required to sign a Liability waiver prior to the start of the season. Team captain managers are responsible for providing signed waivers for your team. The City of Westfield is not responsible for any injuries received.

Adventure Zone -Summer Childcare-2025 - D -Adventure Zone - July 14 - July 18 "Adventure Zone" is a Parks and Recreation Department program since 2003! The one and only AZ camp! A full-day camp during the summer for children ages 5-12. Designed for the working Parents/guardians (s) who need affordable childcare during the summer months when school gets out. Adventure Zone will offer a rich program experience for all participants. Activities include, but are not limited to arts and crafts, sports, tournaments, field trips riding a school bus (Lecrenski Brothers Transportation staff) swimming once a week (Agawam State pool) environmental activities, guest speakers, and much more. Participants are divided into age-appropriate groups, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12. Some of the benefits of attending this program are a sense of adventure, building self-esteem, socialization, interaction with peers, and increasing creativity and personal growth. Participants should bring their own lunch, snacks drink. Lunches should be brought in a small cooler or backpack. Water is available for drinks. Bring a bathing suit and towel every day as we will visit the spray park that is just right behind the School. All of our Summer Camp Councilors are CPR and First Aid certified. Child and Babysitting Safety Program -July 22 - Child and Babysitting Safety Program- July 22 The child and babysitting safety (CABS) program are a community education program that covers child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. The course is designed for pre-teens and teenagers who may be responsible for watching younger siblings, neighbors, and relatives children. The program will teach the importance of responsibility, reliability, proper discipline, age-appropriate activities, recognizing an emergency, emergency action steps, personal safety, fire, water and food safety, infant care and basic first aid and choking management. The course will help increase the self-esteem and self-confidence of potential babysitters. We will also review marketing and learning to be assertive. The attendees will receive a CABS student handbook that provides fundamental information for the babysitters. Bring lunch, a water bottle and a snack, pencil, notebook or paper.

Location: Whitney Playground- Enter on Shepard Street over the hill and exit through Sackett St. All players or teams that don't follow the conduct guidelines will be dismissed from the league with no refund. Practice good sportsmanship. *Per city ordinance no alcoholic beverages and smoking is allowed. (Police take notice) Once you are registered you will receive the times of practice/schedule information. Conduct Policy This league is of "friendly" competition and is set up to promote recreational sports in the City of Westfield adult softball leagues. We ask all participants to work together to continue the philosophy of this program. The use of profanity and unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and officials will be instructed to eject from a game any player, manager, or spectator guilty of these offenses. No drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking before, during, or after a league game on city property, per city ordinance give the police to arrest the individual (s) will result in permanent suspension of the player(s) involved. The Team Captain is the responsible manager who is responsible for the conduct of his or her team (as well as any spectators) both on and off the playing field. The team captain manager is responsible for the policing of the benches and dugout for any trash left behind. Any ejection from a game will lead to the players causing the disrespectful conduct to be removed from the team and we can dismiss the whole team from the league due to bad conduct with no refunds. ALL PLAYERS COMPETE AT THEIR OWN RISK. All players are required to sign a Liability waiver prior to the start of the season. Team captain managers are responsible for providing signed waivers for your team. The City of Westfield is not responsible for any injuries received.

Tennis Lesson Camps Ages 10 & Up July 21-July 25 - Tennis Lessons - 10 & Up July 21 July 25 No matter what your tennis level is you will enjoy a great opportunity to improve your skills. The instructor provides balance, instruction, and practice. Emphasis will be on grip, stance, swing, serve, and ball placement as well as hitting with control for depth and power. Please bring your own tennis racket, a water bottle, and a snack. Bring your bathing suit and towel we will visit the spray park to cool off. Theater Arts-B July 14-July 25 Ages 9 & Up - Theater Arts Camp B Have you ever wanted to be an actress or actor? Join us for a little theater fun. Learn stage movement, voice projection, and characterization. Enjoy your own moment in the spotlight as you become part of a one-act production! The children will hold a performance for family and friends on the last day of the session. The instructor is Kathy Palmer with many years of theater, experience writing plays, and Westfield's finest drama instructors!
